Having escaped execution by the SOG, Gunnery Sergeant Mathison and his Marines are hunted by an elite Governance task force and the entity that escaped from SOG Special Research Base 402-Alpha. If they don’t warn the Republic in time, humanity is doomed.
But the Marines need more information about the entity hunting them, information the SOG doesn’t want them to have, and it’s a race against time as their hunters close in. The hunters can afford many mistakes, but the Marines can’t make a single one.
