Waking up naked on a rock in the middle of a natural pool is bad, not remembering your name or your past is even worse. The hungry looking cat the size of a bear on the shore watching you is not a comforting assurance that you bad day will end soon in a good way.

Sometimes, when a good soul is so tortured, world weary and seeking oblivion an ancient forest will take in that lost soul, love it, nurture it and heal it. Once healed these formerly broken souls become the most valiant defenders of the forest and the realms.

This is the story of Aelfsward, the incidental elf.

Hunted by dark ones, a vengeful demon and a dragon Aelfsward follows his companions into the under realms. . . .

With the legions of Chakal closing in they must flee the dark elf city and escape to the underground wastelands.  With death ahead of them and an unpassable chasm in front of them the companions find new allies and new enemies.

With secret legions lying in wait to spring their ambush, the Dwarven kingdom of the Ruskan allied with dragons and the dark lord they may never see the light of day.

Hunted by dragons, dark ones, blood masters and more, they must stay ahead of the legions of dark ones that are conquering everything in their path as they pour out of the Skull Mountains.

With the loss of a companion this book is a little on the dark side.  They are not winning the battle as the legions of Vakar invade the surface kingdoms, putting everyone and everything to the torch.

With the Mage Council slaughtered, the Dragon Sword in the hands of the enemy and Vakar’s army marching on the magical city the Alliance is all but forgotten.

Aelfsward must help regain the initiative against Brathius or civilization is doomed.

An ancient prophecy, a deadly dragon and a kingdom in Peril. The greatest knights and mages have fallen beneath the claws and spells of the dragon but one young mage with a score to settle takes on the ancient dragon. Is this mage the one who will give the Dragon what it wants?

Lucas dies of old age, but an ancient, tired God needs a champion to save a world. Marine veteran, martial artist.  Does Lucas have what it takes to be the champion?

The clash of honor calls. Lucas must stand where others fall.

This is my work in progress for National Novel Writer's Month 2020 and I intend for this to be the beginning of a series called "The Dragon Guard".

EVERYTHING is a work in progress right now.  Essentially Lucas finds himself on another world, in a different part of the galaxy.  A world where magic, demons and dragons are real.

Returning to civilization, Lucas discovers his problems are just beginning.  Meeting with people that he rescued he learns that red haired elves are the pariahs of elven culture.  Ages ago they were the ones that betrayed the civilized races to the demons, sundering the civilization of man, tuskers, arkers, elves and dragons.

With a young dragon and a fierce elven warrior maid as a companion he will begin to get answers and set things right.

While Gloria leads a rebellion, Lucas goes south to find the last priest of Osran and find out what happened and what is so significant about the white dragon, Shushana, who has been rejected by dragon society.

Hounded by drogue and traitorous elves, Lucas must find answers or die trying.

The ancient sundering left the civilized people divided, robbing them of their dragon allies.

Lucas must lead the remnants of Osran's own to the lost city to close the gate before the demons pour through, but to unite the dragons and elves he must find the Black Dragon or there will be no unity.

Nobody has seen a black dragon in over two thousand years and time is running out.
